State capital city Bhubaneswar on Friday registered 326 new Covid-19 positive cases, with which the positive count rose to 20,219 in the city, out of which 3,612 were active cases.
Out of the fresh cases, 256 were local contacts and 70 were quarantine cases. Among the new local cases, 20 more persons tested positive in the Patia area. Similarly, 11 new cases were detected in the Nayapalli area.
However, 392 persons recovered on the day, taking the total recoveries to 16,511 in the city.Meanwhile, four patients succumbed to the virus in the city on the day, with which the total death toll rose to 80.
The deceased included a 70-year-old man, a 76-year-old man, a 60-year-old man and a 63-year-old man.
