The State capital city on Sunday reported 325 new Covid-19 positive cases including 38 from the CRPF campus, according the data put on Twitter by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
While 20 persons in the CRPF campus tested positive for the virus while being in quarantine, 18 others were found as local contacts.
All the fresh infected persons in the CRPF campus were male. Out of total 325 fresh cases, 107 were detected from among those in quarantine and the rest 218 were local contacts, the BMC data said. With this, the positive cases’ tally of the city rose to 18,592.
While 68 patients have died so far, the number of active cases stands at 4,074 following recoveries of 14,436 persons, including 384 recorded on Sunday.
