A special team of the district administration rescued 32 migrant labourers along with their 19 children from the Harishankar Road railway station in Balangir district on Monday.
The rescued labourers belong to the Patnagarh area of the district, said official sources. The team rescued them when they were waiting to go to Andhra Pradesh to work in brick kilns, said the officials. Meanwhile, the Balangir police arrested a labourer contractor from the spot for taking the labourers to the AP.
