With 316 more persons testing positive for Covid-19 on Friday, total number of infected persons in capital city Bhubaneswar surged to 24,853, out of which 3,507 were active cases. Out of new cases, 232 were local contacts and 84 quarantine cases linked with earlier positive cases, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.The local contacts included 15 in Baramunda, 12 each in Patia and Nayapalli, 10 in Dumduma, nine in BJB Nagar, eight each in Khandagiri.
