Capital city Bhubaneswar on Friday reported 305 new Covid-19 cases, taking its total tally to 17,925, which included 4,212 active cases.
Out of the 305 new cases, 90 were detected in quarantine while 215 were local contact cases.
The local contacts included nine private hospital staffs, nine cases of IRC Village, eight cases of Nayapalli, five cases each of Patia, Hanspala, Patrapada and Chandaka and four cases each of Unit- 9, Bapuji Nagar and Jagamara.
The local contacts included six cases of Unit-6, three cases each of Chakeisiani, Jharpada and Unit-9. However, 517 patients recovered in city on day, taking total recoveries to 13,631.
