A three-year-old girl has donated a sum of Rs 5,500 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to spend the money for State’s fight against COVID-19.
She is Snehashree alias Khushi, daughter of Ranjan Kumar Mallick of Balabhdrapur village under Pattamundai block.
Khushi brought her piggy bank and told her mother to donate the money after she came to know from the family members that the country is fighting against the coronavirus pandemic, for which they were not going to celebrate her birthday in a big way.
“It really surprised us when we heard such words from our little daughter," said Ranjan.
