The Raibaga police during a patrolling on Saturday evening arrested three PlFI members identified as Gobinda Sarnia, Suresh Badaik and Mohanty Badaik of Dandapani village under its jurisdiction in Sundargarh district.
The arrested have confessed to their involvement in the brutal murder of Sindhu Sagar Das, a kiln owner of Majha Para, on July 31, said Raibaga IIC SK Samal.
Notably, the police had earlier arrested two accused, Ajit Surin and Anup Karan lugun of Jharkhand, on August 19 and September 11, respectively. Similarly, two accused persons of another incident, Bharat Singh and Anshu Badaik, were gunned down by cops in an encounter at a place under the Bano police station in Jharkhand on August 31.
