As many as 80 were identified as Corona positive in Jharsuguda district on Saturday. Out of them, three are from Jharsuguda Blood Bank. The district administration has sealed the blood bank for 48 hours.
After sanitising and swab test of all the employees, the blood bank will be reopened. But in emergency cases, arrangements have been made to provide blood to the patients, said CDMO Jagdish Chandra Barik.Sources said that out 80 positives, 28 are from Jharsuguda municipality, three from Belpahar, 12 from Brajrajnagar municipality, three from Jharsuguda block, 22 from Lakhanpur block, four from Kolabira block and six from Kirmira block.
Now, the total positive cases in the district is 3,089. Out of them, 2,200 patients have been cured and 888 are under treatment.
