Panchayati Raj Minister Arun Sahu, Tourism Minister Ashok Panda and Urban Development Minister Pushpendra Singh Deo visited Nabarangpur district on Tuesday to review the ongoing works by various Government departments in the district.
The Ministers held a closed door meeting at the Ashok Mehta Conference hall here with officials.
Panchayati Raj Minister Sahu directed officials to ensure completion of all gram panchayat-related development works in time.
Tourism Minister Panda informed that funds have already been allotted for development of tourist sites of the district.
Urban Development Minister Singh Deo said urban housing and Aahar Yojana would be lunched in the district soon.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed the Ministers and Secretaries to visit districts and interact directly with the people to build a positive image of the Government, said Tularam Nayak, a villager.
Collector Rashmita Panda presided over the meeting. MlAs Manohar Randhari and Subash Gond, ZP President Motiram Nayak and officials of various departments were present.
