A tribal woman, Gloria Minz, of Sundargarh district is completely heartbroken after she heard that her three minor sons have allegedly been sold by a middleman to a Mumbai hotel, where they are engaged as bonded labourers. Sources said Gloria had been residing with her husband Rimish, a mason, and three sons Amiya Minz (14), Ashok Minz (11) and Anil Minz (8) at lohardipa under the Town Police Station.
On October 19, Gloria lodged an FIR at the Town Police Station alleging that her husband and three sons had gone to market for shopping but did return. She alleged that Rimish had love affair with a woman in the district with whom he has gone to Mumbai lured by a middleman.
After some days, Gloria managed to reach her hubby over phone and was informed that the middleman has sold their sons to a hotel in Mumbai, where they clean dishes, and they would only be released after the money taken from the hotel owner is given back.
Gloria also alleged that her husband is no longer concerned about her children as he has started living with the woman in Mumbai. Acting on the FIR, police are on the lookout for Rimish and his three sons, said Town PS ICC PK Jena.
