With the Odia language crossing the last hurdle in its journey for the coveted classical tag on Thursday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ordered a three-day celebration.
All Government buildings will be decorated and illuminated with colourful lights for three days while schools will organise Odia language awareness programmes to mark the occasion. The Odisha Sahitya Akademi will be organising a special function to mark the occasion.
