The Police on Sunday court-forwarded three accused arrested in connection with murder of Vizag Steel Plant AGM I Surya Prasad Rao on Jan 5 in Sainik School area of the city. The accused were identified as Jeevan, Sheikh Faju and Karuna.
They were arrested from Rayagada, Bissam Katak and Kakinada of Andhra Pradesh. Police said the accused had helped Abid Khan, one of the key accused in the case, to bring Rao from the airport on Jan 4. After taking Rao from the airport, the accused had kept him in a lodge at Patia and then killed him at night when Rao failed to give ransom money.
