A 28-year-old woman Probationary Officer of the Canara Bank, Choudhury Bazar Branch here, has accused the AGM and two senior officials of sexual harassment.
The victim lodged a complaint at the Purighat police station on Monday. The police have started an inquiry after registering a case. The unmarried girl from Kendrapada had joined the branch as a PO in July 2014. Since then her seniors Brijkishore Jena and Subhash Chandra Malik and Bhubaneswar Circle AGM SBSN Rao had been harassing her in the bank. Her repeated protests fell on deaf ears with even the AGM threatening her of dire consequences, according to her complaint.
