The second Food Plaza at the Bhubaneswar Railway Station was unveiled on Wednesday by East Coast Railway General Manager Vidya Bhushan at platform No. 6.
Senior level officials from the ECoR headquarters and Khurda Road Division, including Principal Chief Commercial Manager, ECoR, Ajay Kumar Behera were present on the occasion.
The first Food Plaza is running at platform No. 1 at the Bhubaneswar Railway Station since 2016.
Earlier, passengers from platform No. 6 were facing problem to go to platform No. 1 for their snacks and meals or depending on eateries in nearby station areas.
The Food Plaza will operate round- the -clock serving multi-cuisine food and beverage items catering to the needs of the travelling passengers. Also, a public address system has been provided to enable the passengers to know about information on arrival and departure of trains.
