Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the launch of 29 new hi-tech buses here on Thursday.He said these buses of the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) would be introduced on 14 routes in the remote areas of the State for the convenience of the passengers.
The new buses have been purchased at a cost of Rs 25 crore with Rs 8 crore provided by the State Government and the rest Rs 17 crore by the OSRTC.With the induction of the hi-tech buses, the number of buses of OSRTC has gone up to 470.
