The State on Saturday registered 269 new Covid-19 cases in 24 districts and the State pool, with which the total tally rose to 13,29,995.
Among the newly-infected were 39 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had recorded 254 Covid cases on Friday.
Out of the new cases, 157 were from quarantine and 112 local contacts.
Khordha district reported the highest 66 new cases followed by Cuttack with 49, Sundargarh 29, Nayagarh 14, Nabarangpur 11, Sambalpur and Jajpur nine each, Bargarh eight, Balangir seven, Puri six, Jagatsinghpur and Kalahandi five each, Subarnapur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj four each, Ganjam, Baleswar, Deogarh and Nuapada three each, Jharsuguda two and Kandhamal Rayagada one case each.
Besides, 15 cases were reported from the State pool.
The number of active cases stood at 1,758. So far, 13,19,000 persons have recovered from the disease in the State.
