The State registered a much-reduced daily count of 255 Covid-19 cases in 25 districts and the State pool on Tuesday.With this, the total tally rose to 13,23,307.
Among the newly-infected were 43 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had recorded 381 Covid cases on Monday.
Out of the new cases, 149 were from quarantine and 106 local contacts.
Khordha district reported the highest 59 new cases followed by 44 in Sundargarh, Sambalpur and Kalahandi 14 each, Cuttack 13, Nabaranpur 12, Mayurbhanj 11 and Subarnapur 10.
The districts which reported below-10 cases were Balangir and Baleswar with seven each, Gajapati and Jajpur six each, Bargarh five, Jharsuguda and Rayagada four each, Bhadrak three, Deogarh, Kendrapada and Puri two each, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur and Kandhamal one each.
The active cases numbered 3,462.
Meanwhile, one more person succumbed to the disease in Rayagada, taking the total death toll to 9,153 in the State.
So far, 13,10,635 patients have recovered from the disease.
