A total of 255 candidates have been declared to have passed the recruitment examination for the post of Excise Constables in the State Excise Department, conducted by the Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) in all districts. A total of 1,534 candidates had given the written examination. Before the written examination, a physical test was also held from December 15, 2014 to December 18, 2014 in all district headquarters. Based on the performance of the candidates in physical test, the written examination along with their career marks, the OSSSC has declared 255 candidates successful against 256 vacant posts. A total of 13,347 candidates had applied for the post. The results can be seen on the Commission’s website www.osssc.gov.in.
