Capital city Bhubaneswar on Tuesday registered 229 new Covid-19 positive cases taking its total count to 27,441, including 2,830 active cases. This is ninth consecutive day when the city registered less than 300 positives. Out of the new cases, 182 were local contacts and 47 quarantine cases.
The locals contacts included 13 cases from Rasulgarh, 12 from Patia, nine each from Hanspal and Chadrasekharpur, seven from Saheed Nagar, six each from Nayapalli, IRC Village, Laxmisagar and Old Town, five from Sailashree Vihar, four each from Naharkanta ,Khandagiri and Unit-1.
