The State on Saturday registered 222 new Covid-19 cases in 25 districts and the State pool, with which the total tally rose to 13,32,957.
Among the newly-infected were 36 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had recorded 202 Covid cases on Friday.
Out of the new cases, 130 were from quarantine and 92 local contacts.
Khordha district recorded the highest 51 new cases followed by Sundargarh with 29, Cuttack 23, Sambalpur 13, Puri 12, Baleswar 11, Kalahandi eight, Nayagarh and Bargarh six each, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj five each, Kandhamal four, Balangir, Nabarangpur and Ganjam three each, Nuapada and Deogarh two each and Bhadrak and Jharsuguda one each.
Besides, 11 cases were reported from the State pool.
The active cases numbered 1,417
Meanwhile, one more person succumbed to the disease in Cuttack district, taking the total death toll to 9,198 in the State. So far, 13,22,299 persons have recovered from the disease.
