Bhubaneswar on Sunday registered 214 Covid-19 cases. With this, the total tally in the State capital city increased to 1,09,454.
Notably, on Saturday, 162 positive cases had been detected in the city. Out of the new cases, 163 were local contacts and 51 cases were from quarantine.The local contacts included 11 cases in Mancheswar, followed by nine each in Sailashree Vihar and Patia, eight each in Khandagiri and Unit-3 and seven in Nayapalli.The active cases stood at 3,428 in the city. So far, 1,009 patients have succumbed to the virus in the city. However, 163 more patients recovered from the disease, increasing the total recoveries to 1,04,996.
