Bhubaneswar on Friday registered 213 new Covid-19 positive cases, with which the total tally increased to 1,06,292 in the city.Notably, the city had detected 229 cases on Thursday.Out of the 213 new cases, 185 were local contacts and 34 from quarantine.
The local contacts included 13 cases each in Saheed Nagar and Khandagiri followed by nine in Nayapalli and eight in Sundarpada.The active cases in the city stood at 3,308.
So far, 990 patients have died of Covid in the city.However, 262 more patients recovered in the last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 1,01,973.
