Twenty-one students of the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) have bagged jobs in the TCS through campus placement. All students are pursuing their graduation in the Science, Arts and Commerce streams.

So many students being selected through campus placement from a tribal institution in one attempt is a matter of discussion in the corporate world. This success brings cheers among the students, their families and the tribal community as a whole as it will be helpful for the socioeconomic development of their families and next generation.

Tribal students not only get best education at the KISS, but they also are successful in getting jobs in Government, private and corporate sectors.

Congratulating the successful students, KIIT and KISS Founder Dr Achyuta Samanta said tribal students are as intelligent as the students of the general category; and if good environment and proper guidance are provided to them, they can excel in any field. The KISS has provided them a beautiful environment and proper and timely guidance of teachers make them successful in every field, he added.

KISS students have also cleared various All India Entrance Tests and secured admission in prestigious institutions like IITs, IIMs and NITs. Expressing their pleasure, parents of these students said their children could get this success only because of proper care of the KISS. Earlier, 15 KISS students bagged jobs in multinationals like Cognizant, Infosys, etc.
