Kandhamal Book Fair inaugurated
Phulbani: The ninth Kandhamal Book Fair, organised by the local Banajyoshna Sahitya Sansad was inaugurated at the Coronation field on Friday by Kandhamal district Collector Dr Brunda D. The book fair will continue till March 5. Zilla Parishad President Akankhya Pradhan, local MlA Duguni Kanhar, Phulbani Municipality Chairman Rajendra Kanhar and District Veterinary Officer lalatendu Kumar Aicha were the other guests. The guests distributed prizes to the winners of an essay competition. Adyasha Patnaik performed a cultural show.
Hero Fincorp holds financial literacy camp
Keonjhar: The Hero Fincorp Pvt ltd, Bhubaneswar organised a financial literacy camp at Baunshuli village of Baunshuli GP in Keonjhar district on Friday with an aim to cater to the loan needs and financial literacy in rural areas in the district. Hero Fincorp Pvt ltd State operations head Debasis Pattanayak created awareness among people about some basic concepts relating to financial literacy to avoid inconvenience. He said people can take advantage of mobile van office named VANO, a unique initiative by any NBFC in India. Around 40 villagers attended the camp.
