MlA Patra clears matric exam in his 40s
Phulbani: BJD MlA Rajib Patra, who is in his 40s, has cleared the matric examination. Patra, who represents the Baliguda constituency in Kandhamal district, had appeared at the 10th HSC examination at the Jaleshpata Government Girls’ High School centre under Tumudibandha block on September 25. He had dropped his education from Class-VIII.
YFS, KAPOCH hold ‘Save Monument’ drive
Bhubaneswar: The Youth for Seva (YFS) in association with the Kalinga Association for Protection of Culture and Heritage (KAPOCH) organised a cleanliness drive at Dhauli under a ‘Save Monument Campaign’ for protection and beatification of historical sites. More than 80 young social activists cleaned the graffiti. KAPOCH chairman Sangram Keshari Paikray and YFS national member Swayam Prakash Baral coordinated the drive. Among others, Sangram Patra, Jyotiranjan Mohanty, Rashmipriya Samantray, Ramesh Pradhan, Manas Panda, Amulya Pradhan and Biswaranjan Paikray were present.
