Matric supplementary exam results out
Cuttack: Results of the Matric supplementary and State Open School Certificate examinations, conducted by the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE), were declared on Friday. A total of 11,547 and 13,396 students had appeared for the supplementary and State Open School Certificate examinations, respectively, said BSE officials. With a pass percentage of 48.66, a total of 5,263 students passed the supplementary examination, which was held from June 1 to 7. Students can check their results at www.bseodisha.ac.in.
Educationist Dinabandhu to get Gangadhar Samman
Bhubaneswar: Noted educationist and lawyer Dr Dinabandhu Mishra would be conferred with the prestigious Gangadhar Mohapatra Smruti Samman, informed Gangadhar Mohapatra Foundation Chairman Aryakumar Jnanedra. Dr Mishra would received the award at a special programme to be held here on July 14. Earlier, noted persons like Gobinda Das, late Gangadhar Rath, Bipin Bihari Rath, late Mujboor Rehman, and late Bhupen Bose were felicitated with the award. Dr Mishra was selected for this year by committed headed by Dr Bimalendu Mohanty, said Jnanendra.
