Top Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda was on Monday produced in the Gajapati District and Sessions Judge Court on Monday. He was brought here amid tight security cover from the Brahmapur Central Jail.
Panda , who is the accused in the R Udayagiri, Mohana and Adaba police stations jail, police station and treasury arson case, the kidnapping case of the then police station Inspector- in -Charge and jailor kidnapping case, setting ablaze of mobile tower , explosion in Ghorni Ghat in the district was produced in the court.
Among it, three witnesses in the jail break and arson case, two in telephone and mobile tower case and two witnesses in the attack on the OSAP camp case testified in the court. The District and Sessions Judge Durgashankar Mishra recorded it. On behalf of Sabyasachi lawyer Swarup Kumar Pal appeared in court. later, in the afternoon Panda was again taken back to Bramhapur Central Jail.
