A woman member of the banned CPI(Maoist) on Sunday surrendered before police in Koraput. The member of the outlawed group identified as Puala Attama alias laxmi surrendered before DIG (South-Western Range) S Saini at the district headquarters office. She was a leader of the Koraput-Srikakulam division of the rebels and was carrying a cash award of `4 lakh on her head.
The Red rebel would be rehabilitated as per the surrender and rehabilitation policy of the Govt a police officer said.
