The DAV School of Business Management organised DSBM GENESIS 2015, a national management event, on Fridaywhere more than 30 leading schools and junior colleges from Odisha and other States participated in Business Quiz, Business Plan, AdMad show and Pictures Speak.
The thrust objective was to create a platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skill.
Prof RK Bal of the Utkal University as chief guest stressed on the importance of daily reading with the help an anecdote. Dr DV Ramana of the XIMB was the keynote speaker.
The inaugural ceremony started with a welcome address by DSBM Principal Dr DN Mishra, who laid emphasis on progressive thought and giving joy. DSBM President MM Panda and DAV Institutions Regional Director Dr KC Satapathy blessed the students for their bright future and the endeavour for creating such platforms.
Four teams qualified for the final round of Business Quiz. The DAV Chandrasekharpur emerged as the Business Quiz winner. The winner trophy was clinched by Dalmiya Vidya Mandir for the Business Plan. The winner of Ad Mad Show was the DAV Unit-8. The winner for Pictures Speak was the loyola School.
