Nalco joins int’l trade show Mining Mazma
Bhubaneswar: The National Aluminium Company limited (Nalco) has participated in the three-day Mining Exploration Convention and Trade Show (Mining Mazma-2015) began in Bangalore on Thursday.
The trade show, sponsored by Ministry of Mines, is organised by the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI). The show will have deliberations on various issues related to mining as a sponsor. The Nalco has put up a pavilion to showcase its activities and achievements. Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the Nalco pavilion in the presence of Union Mines secretary Balvinder Kumar and NalcoCMD TK Chand.
XIMB wins Conquer Tata Crucible Quiz
Bhubaneswar: The Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) won the regional-level Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz held here on Wednesday. XIMB Professor Subhasis Ray and MN Tripathi displayed a great depth of knowledge and went on to win the title for the second time in a row. The team, which defeated corporate teams like TCS, Infosys and Mindfire, will now compete in the Zonal finals to be held in Kolkata on October 4. The 12th edition of the quiz programme saw participation from many organisations in the Bhubaneswar edition.
