Nalco retired officers’ body formed
Bhubaneswar: A new association involving only retired officers of the Nalco has been formed. The body named Nalco Retired Officers’ Association (NROA) was registered under the Society Registration Act-1860 on July 29. The members of the newly-formed body are Kshirod Kumar Patra (president), Babaji Charan Jena (vice-president) Prafulla Chandra Panda (general secretary), Mohan Sahu (joint secretary) and Santosh Kumar Samal (treasure). Besides, the executive members of the body include Dr PK Majhi, R Palai, CR Acharya, PK Mohapatra and Narayan Behera.
NPCI hosts e-Payment literacy Workshop
Bhubaneswar: The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the umbrella organisation for all retail payment system in the country, has initiated e-Payments literacy Workshop in Maharashtra on the World literacy Day. The event was simultaneously hosted by NPCI representatives in 28 States at 120 centres. In Odisha, the four target centres were Khariar, Balangir, Baripada and Bhubaneswar.
