Gramya Bank opens first ATM at Kakatpur
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Gramya Bank has opened its first ATM at Kakatpur. The ATM was officially inaugurated by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Deputy Governor HR Khan in the presence of RBI Bhubaneswar Regional Director PK Jena and NABARD Chief General Manager SK Kale. Khan disbursed loans to self-help groups.
NTR Seva Samiti holds annual day function
Brahmapur: The NTR Seva Samiti, a city-based volunteer organisation, celebrated its annual day function here on Sunday. The function was inaugurated by Brahmapur Sub-Collector Nikhil Pawan Kalyan and SMIT president Dr Bhagwan Gantayat. Samiti president M Venkatramana and vice president Ch Chakradhar Rao coordinated the programme.
Gym inaugurated at B’pur DIG office
Brahmapur: A gym was inaugurated by local MP Sidhanta Mohapatra at the DIG office of Southern Division here on Monday. The gym was established at a sum of Rs 10 lakh sanctioned from MPlAD fund. Among others, local MlA Ramesh Chandra Chyau Pattnaik, Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BMC) Mayor K Madhavi, Berhampur Development Authority (BDA) Chairman Subash Moharana, DIG Amitav Thakur and other senior police officials were present.
MSME Minister visits RSP
Rourkela: State MSME Minister Jogendra Behera visited the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on Monday. Accompanied by OSIC MD BB Behera, the Minister visited the RSP’s various units. later, he held a meeting with RSP CEO GS Prasad and Executive Directors. A presentation on policies of the RSP promoting MSMEs in the State was also made on the occasion.
