Brahmeswar enter Gati Krushna Football final
Bhubaneswar: Brahmeswar Sporting barged into the final by defeating Chandrashekharpur Athletic Association in the 11th Gati Krushna Memorial Div-B football Tournament here on Monday. The all important goal scored by Raj Kishore Majhi in the 27th minute and Brahmeswar edged out Chandrashekharpur by 1-0 goal. Sekhawat Khan, Sudip Das, Durga Acharya and Chandrakanta Barik were the officials for the semifinal match. On Tuesday, KIIT University would meet MS Eleven in the semifinal match.

Bhubaneswar: Cricket is Mahabharata, and I am nothing but Sanjay only, said well-known cricket commentator, journalist and columnist Harsha Bhogle while attending a special function organised by Odia daily ‘Sambad’ as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations. He also delivered a lecture on ‘The Winning Way’ at Hotel here on Monday. There are two types of cricket lovers in our country. Few enjoy the sixes, fours and cheer girls in the matches, in my view they are not watching the matches. In my opinion you should analyse the game, how a player can play more than two decades in a constant and continuous form, said Bhogle. Cricket is religion in our country and Sachin Tendulkar is the living god of cricket, said MP Ranjib Biswal. He also compared Bhogle as priest of cricket.
