AAP defers State-wide stir for Hudhud
Bhubaneswar: The Aam Aadmi Party Sate unit on Wednesday postponed its proposed State-wide agitation against scams and corruption in view of the cyclonic storm Hudhud. AAP State unit convenor Nishikant Mohapatra in a Press release said the agitation scheduled to begin from October 9 has been postponed to October 26 for the approaching cyclonic storm Hudhud and urged people to extend help to others during the natural calamity.
Utkal literature Fest postponed
Bhubaneswar: In view of the approaching cyclonic storm Hudhud, which is predicted to hit the State’s coast on October 12, the Utkal literature Festival organising committee has decided to postpone its festival scheduled to be held on October 10 and 11 until further decision.
Rly staffs perform street play on cleanliness
Bhubaneswar: Employees of the East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Wednesday performed a street play at the Bhubaneswar railway station to create public awareness on the importance of cleanliness and sanitation in railway premises. The street play was appreciated well by large crowds at the railway station.
