Odisha, Andhra MPs meet ECoR GM
Bhubaneswar: Members of Parliament, whose constituencies come under the Railway Jurisdiction of Waltair Division, discussed with East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Rajiv Vishnoi and other senior officials regarding various railway developmental issues at the ECoR Headquarters here on Tuesday. They raised many constructive ideas, valuable advices and public demands at the meeting. The MPs included Balabhadra Majhi and Jhina Hikaka from Odisha and Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, K Ram Mohan Naidu, Geetha Kothapalli and M Srinivasa Rao from Andhra Pradesh.
Rly engineers submit memo to AP MPs
Bhubaneswar: Representatives of the East Coast Railway Engineers’ Association (ECoREA), on behalf of the All India Railway Engineers’ Association, met four lok Sabha members of Andhra Pradesh here on Tuesday. MPs Dr Hari Babu, M Srinivas Rao, K Ram Mohan Rao and Geetha Kathapalli visited the ECoR headquarters here to discuss with ECoR GM Rajiv Vishnoi regarding development of the Waltair Division. The railway engineers headed by ECoREA secretary Bobin Mohanty submitted a memorandum on the long-pending issues like pay anomaly, Group-B status to all engineers and recognition of the AIREF to the MPs, who assured them to discuss the matter with the Railway Ministry to give justice to them.
