Gitanjali to join Asian Judo meet as referee
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Sports and Youth Services judo coach Gitanjali Panda (Black Belt 3rd Dan-Indian Judo Federation, Joint Secretary, and General Secretary-Odisha State Judo Association) is going to participate in the Asian Judo Open Cadets Championship at Taipei as a international referee which will be held from July 31 to August 6. She is the first Indian woman to go abroad as a international referee. Priyabrat Patnaik (President, OSJA) has given his kind appreciation for her this achievement.A 17-member national team including seven boys, seven girls, two coaches and one referee would participate in the Asian meet.
