SBI holds two-day strategy conclave
Bhubaneswar: The State Bank of India (SBI), Bhubaneswar Circle organised a two-day brainstorming strategy conclave here on May 17 and 18. The function was inaugurated by Circle Chief General Manager KM Trivedi. All senior functionaries and Branch Managers from all over Odisha attended the session. The main objective of the conclave was to increase the bank's access to every individual in the State and meet all of their banking needs with overall improvement in the bank’s service delivery system. Many achievers in different fields of banking were felicitated by the bank. General Manager PVSlN Murty gave a vote of thanks.
SBI donates water cooler for Jagannath devotees
Puri: State Bank of India Chief General Manager Krishna Mohan Trivedi along with other SBI officials on Tuesday donated a water purifier-cum-cooler worth Rs 1.28 lakh to Shree Jagannath Temple Administrator Prasanna Hota for use of devotees.
UCCI remembers Russi Mody
Bhubaneswar: The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) on Monday paid tributes to former Managing Director of Tata Steel Russi Mody, the Steel Man of India. A condolence meeting was organised on the occasion, in which officials and members of the UCCI recounted life history of Mody and paid homage to his departed soul. UCCI vice-president (industry) S Jagdev, who presided over the meeting, portrayed Mody as one of the pioneers of industrial revolution in the country. Notably, Mody passed away on May 16 in Kolkata at the age of 96.
