RSP sends relief team to cyclone-hit Odisha
Rourkela: A medical relief team of the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was sent to the Phailin affected areas on Wednesday. The team was flagged off by Plant CEO GS Prasad at the Ispat General Hospital. Also present on the occasion were ED (P&A) Dipankar Basu, Dr SK Mishra, Dr BB Rao, Dr Sanjeeb Mohanty and other senior officers and doctors of RSP.
PNB reviews post-Phailin situation
Bhubaneswar: In the aftermath of the devastating Phailin and the ensuing floods, a review meeting was held at Punjab National Bank (PNB) Circle Office here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Circle Head SK Dokania. To meet the exigencies, the PNB extended its banking service to the Government agencies at various centres, particularly at Brahmapur.
Adhunik group distributes relief work
Rourkela: A special team of Adhunik Group distributed relief work in the Phailin affected areas of Gopalpur, Ganjam and Puri under the leadership of chief coordinator for disaster relief Sinil Kumar Mishra and facilitator Rajesh Ranjan. The relief team of the company too had distributed relief material in the flood hit Uttarakhand and associated itself with the rescue operation.
