PPT gets CSR Award
Paradip: The Paradip Port Trust (PPT) has been conferred the Think Odisha CSR Award-2013 in the 6th edition of Think CSR Awards & Think Odisha leadership Award in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. PPT Chairman Sudhansu Sekhara Mishra received the award from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The PPT was adjudged for the award considering the present infrastructure development, connectivity and state-of-the-art facilities installed in the port, which has contributed to the economic growth of the State.
JSPl gets award for resource management
Angul: The Jindal Steel and Power ltd (JSPl) was awarded with the Think CSR leadership Award for its excellence in the field of natural resource management at a function in Bhubaneswar. The JSPl’s initiatives in CSR activities, more particularly in community-driven participatory programmes, in Angul were highly appreciated. Addressing the gathering, Head of Odisha (JSPl) Subrat Ratho said, “Corporate, as national wealth creators, are also partners in nation building. CSR needs to be beyond philanthropy and should aim at holistic and equitable development to improve the quality of life of the community.” JSPl Vice-President (CSR & Corp Communication) Prashant Kumar Hota elaborated on various innovative programmes for community-driven natural resources management implemented by the JSPl.
