The Nabarangpur district BJD sought resignation of MP Pradeep Majhi over the objectionable photograph issue. It submitted a memorandum to the BDOs in 10 blocks addressing the President of India to take action over the issue.
At Nabarangur block, under the leadership of MlA Monahar Randhari, block chairman Badabysha Bhatra, municipality chairman Prahalad Tipathy, District BJD general secretary Asish Ranjan Patnaik, secretary Rabi Patnaik, the supporters took out a rally and submitted a memorandum to the BDO.
Similarly at Papadahandi, under the leadership of Zilla Parisad president Motiram Nayak and senior BJD leader Swadhin Patnaik, a rally was taken out and a meeting was held in front of the block office. They submitted a memorandum to the BDO. Similar rallies were also taken out at Umerkote, Raighar and Kosagumuda, etc.
