Kujang Sub-Judge Courtinaugurated
Jagatsinghpur: The longstanding demand of lawyers of Kujang and litigants of the locality was fulfilled as a Sub-Judge Court was inaugurated at Kujang last week by Jagatsinghpur District Judge Gopal Chandra Behera. Kujang Bar Association president presided over the inauguration meeting and secretary proposed a vote of thanks. Newly-appointed Sub-Judge AK Nayak conducted the court proceedings after the meeting.
Old Gajapati couple seeks pension
Parlakhemundi: A couple of Debadala village under Kasinager block in Gajapati district urged the district administration to provide them old age pension as per the Government policy. According to the couple Arjun Chintada (70) and Binima Chintana (63), though they fulfill the requisite guidelines for receiving old age pension, yet they are being deprived of the facility. Despite their repeated appeals to the administration, no body hears their plight, they said.
