Nearly 200 local leaders of the BJD and the Congress of the Begunia Assembly constituency on Saturday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here at the party headquarters in the presence of State party president KV Singh Deo. Welcoming the new members, Singh Deo urged them to work united to ensure the party’s victory in the constituency.
“Our main target is to ensure the BJP’s victory in Odisha and in the country in general to see Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister in particular.” He said. Among others, party Khordha district president Sudipta Ray and senior leader Suresh Pujari were present.
