Instructed by Chief Minister Naveen Patanaik, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, accompanied by Health Additional Chief Secretary Pradipta Mohapatra, visited Rourkela on Tuesday and reviewed the Covid management by the Sundargarh district administration there.
Tripathy also visited the concerned hospitals took stock of the treatment facilities there.
The Chief Secretary said, "Two ICUs are presently operating at Rourkela.
Another will be set up soon." He further said 20 more doctors would be sent to Rourkela in a day or two.
Pradipta Mohapatra said, "The sero survey undertaken by RMRC, Bhubaneswar shows that around 25% people in Rourkela have developed anti-body against Covid-19, which is a good sign."
