The Odisha State Fishermen Cooperative Federation (Fishfed) will open 20 modern outlets in Bhubaneswar to sell fish from lo The Fishfed in first phase will open two kiosks at a cost of Rs 40 lakh. The State Government will provide grant for this. later, the Fishfed will develop the remaining outlets in two phases.
The Fishfed will open the 20 kiosks at locations like Bhimatangi market, Sailashree Vihar, Mancheswar railway market, Rasulgarh, GGP Colony, Acharya Vihar, Samantarapur, Sum Hospital, Siripur, Unit-III, Dumduma Market, Patia, VSS Nagar, Palasuni, Pandra SBI Colony, Jayadev Vihar, Ganga Nagar, Khandagiri, laxmisagar and Unit-IX. The outlets will be fully air-conditioned and have modern equipments to sell fish products.
