Two warships of the Indian Navy will arrive at the Paradip Port ahead of the Indian Navy Day to be celebrated on December 4.

The Indian Navy will throw open INS Rana and INS Gharial for public viewing on November 24 and 25 as part of the Navy Day celebrations.

The two warships will anchor in the prohibited region of the port. Civilians can get an opportunity to undertake a guided tour of the two frontline warships for two days.

According to reports, the visitors will have to undergo a security check at the Gopabandhu Stadium here. Later, they will be taken to the prohibited area by a special bus to see the warships.

Notably, INS Rana is a Rajput-class destroyer active in service with the Indian Navy since June 1982.

INS Gharial is a Magar-class warship, one of the largest vessels in the Navy.
