Two schoolteachers were killed when a speeding car dashed against their scooter at Gohira Chhak on National Highway-16 on the city outskirts on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Binodini Nayak, a teacher of Bhagabat Basudev Bidyapitha, Kantia, and Gokul Charan Mohanty, former Headmaster of NDRC High School, Kantia.
Mohanty was steering the scooter with Binodini as a pillion rider when they met with the mishap.
