n Two sisters drowned while taking bath in a pond at Tulasipur village in the Khallikote area of Ganjam district on Wednesday.
They were the daughters of one Suresh Pahan of Tulasipur village. While one girl aged about 10 years was studying in Class-VI, her eight-year-old sibling was a Class-III student.
According to reports, the sister duo had gone to the village pond at 10 am. While taking bath, their legs slipped into deep water and they drowned.
