Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Chairman Basudeb Chhatoi on Sunday said Plus II Science students can now apply for re-addition of marks within a week of the announcement of the annual examination results. Chhatoi said the revised number would be published at the earliest thereby facilitating students to get a good rank in all-India entrance tests like medical and engineering course.
Earlier, students had to wait for months to apply for re-addition where students were deprived of justice.
Since the Plus II marks matter more during ranking in medical and engineering courses, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked the CHSE to send the revised marksheets by June 10, added Chhatoi.
The annual Plus II examination-2016 would be held between March 2 and 29 while the practical examinations would be conducted prior to the examination between January 20 and 30.
