Two trains, Sambalpur-Koraput-Sambalpur passenger and Sambalpur-Junagarh Road-Sambalpur passenger would be cancelled on May 14 and May 18, respectively, for subway works to be undertaken on their routes.
In a release, the East Coast Railway said while works would be undertaken between lanjigarh Road and Ambodala stations on Thursday, the work under Sambalpur division would be taken up on Monday for subway construction.
Besides, the Raipur-Visakhapatnam passenger, which will leave Raipur on May 14 and 18 will be short-terminated at Titlagarh and will return as the Visakhapatnam-Raipur passenger from Titlagarh to Raipur. Similarly, the Visakhapatnam-Raipur passenger, which is scheduled to leave Visakhapatnam on May 14 and 18 will be short terminated at Rayagada and will return as the Raipur-Visakhapatnam passenger from Rayagada to Visakhapatnam.
