Two youths drowned and another went missing while taking bath in the Koel river here on Sunday. After receiving information, the Fire Services personnel launched an operation to rescue missing youth.
As per reports, three youths from the city had gone to the river’s Jamsera Ghat for picnicking. Before having food, they wanted to take bath in river. The trio was swept away in the current of water.
Locals present at the spot informed Fire Services personnel, who eventually launched a rescue operation to trace youths.
The personnel fished out bodies of two youths after a few hours of operation. Till latest report came in, operation was on to trace third youth.
